
Serves 2 persons
Cooking time: 20 minutes
- Season steaks with a little salt and pepper.
- Steam potatoes until cooked (15-20 minutes).
- Add oil to a pan on high heat.
- When oil is hot, add steaks & 2 sprigs of rosemary to pan.
- Cook as desired, turning steaks every minute (6 mins = rare, 8 mins = medium, 10 mins = well done).
- Transfer steaks to a warm plate and allow to rest.
- To the same pan add butter over a medium heat.
- When butter is melted add onions and cook until soft.
- Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook until mushrooms are browned.
- Add green beans and chicken stock and simmer until beans are cooked through but still slightly crisp (2-3 mins).
- Serve steak with vegetables and potatoes, garnish with rosemary sprigs.
