Allie Sherlock to Perform at Half-Time of Division 1A final in UPMC Nowlan Park

INTRODUCTION

Centra, Ireland’s leading convenience retailer, and the Camogie Association are gearing up for a thrilling weekend of action as the 2026 Centra Camogie League Finals take centre stage on 11th and 12th April.

Following weeks of high-intensity competition across all divisions, the race for silverware now reaches its climax, with finals pairings confirmed in Division 1A, 1B, 2A and 3A. (A Division 3B Final is to be confirmed)

The Division 2A and Division 3A Finals will take place on Saturday, 11th April (venue TBC), while attention will turn to UPMC Nowlan Park, Kilkenny on Sunday, 12th April for the Division 1A and Division 1B finals.

ALLIE SHERLOCK — HALF-TIME PERFORMANCE

Adding to what promises to be a memorable occasion, Allie Sherlock, one of Ireland’s most influential young artists, with a multi-million strong global social following, will perform live at half-time during the Division 1A final on Sunday, bringing an extra layer of excitement and celebration to an already landmark day for players and supporters alike.

Centra, All Ireland Hurling Championship sponsor, and all-time leading scorer Patrick Horgan launch competition to find Ireland’s next top sharpshooter

INTRODUCTION

Centra, Ireland’s leading convenience retailer and longest-serving sponsor of the All-Ireland GAA Hurling Senior Championship, has officially launched the 2026 Senior Hurling Championship and the Centra GAA Sharpshooter Competition in partnership with Patrick Horgan, the all-time leading Championship points scorer.

The launch event took place at St Vincent’s GAA Club in Dublin and was attended by some of the game’s most recognisable stars, including Brian Hayes (Cork), Noel McGrath (Tipperary), Paddy Deegan, (Kilkenny) and Conor Dawson (Dublin).

CENTRA GAA SHARPSHOOTER COMPETITION

Having spearheaded the 2025 Sharpshooter competition, Patrick Horgan returns once again to launch the nationwide initiative designed to discover and nurture the next generation of hurling sharpshooters.

Centra and Patrick “Pa” Horgan, who finished his career as the record Championship points scorer with a total of 32-683 (779), are calling on all children aged 8–12 to show their accuracy and skill by collecting a Sharpshooter target sticker in participating Centra stores, placing it on their local club’s ball wall, and uploading their content to social media tagging @CentraIRL and their local GAA club.

PRIZES

Winners will see a €1,000 prize for their local GAA club plus the opportunity for a team to play at the 2026 Hurling for Cancer Research Charity Match later this year.
